Hands-On History Days @ Old Economy Village

May 4-5, 2019

This event brings history to life for visitors of all ages. We will have 15+ demonstrations and you can also be an apprentice to one of our trades/crafts. Come try your hand at a variety of nineteenth century crafts & trades, such as blacksmithing, printing, cooking, textile production, laundry and more! While you’re here wander over to the garden for Garden Mart too!

Erntedankfest: A Harvest Festival @ Old Economy Village
Oct 5 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

applesThis event celebrates the fall harvest and many of the tasks done to prepare for winter. Artisans will be cooking, baking and demonstrating many different crafts and skills. Music, food and activities for the whole family make this a great fall tradition!

There will be a variety of vendors selling their wares, everything from soap to pottery as well as food and drink among other things.

Musical acts will be performing throughout the two days, stay tuned for the performance schedule.

There will be activities for the young as well as the young at heart!

                                                October 5-6, 2019

                                    Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
                                     Sunday 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m.

Admission to this event is regular price:

Adults:     $10.00

Senior (65+)     $9.00

Children (Age 3-12)     $6.00

Free Admission: Children under 3, Active Military, FOEV Members, PA Heritage Members
