River City Brass Concert @ Old Economy Village garden
Aug 20 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
River City Brass is scheduled for a concert on Saturday, August 20th, at 5:00 p.m.  Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets for the concert are $15 per person and are available in advance at the Old Economy Village Visitor Center.  You may also purchase your tickets using the Paypal link below. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved into the Feast Hall so there will be a limited number of tickets available for the show.

This is a wonderful event that harkens back to the days when the Harmonists held concerts in the garden in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This event is lawn chair seating so bring along a chair or blanket, a picnic basket, and your favorite beverage and enjoy a beautiful evening at Old Economy.

Remember that tickets are limited so get yours before they are sold out!

This concert has been underwritten by a generous grant from the Eden Hall Foundation. We would also like to thank Castlebrook Development Group for their sponsorship of this wonderful event.

Our volunteer gardeners are eager to show off the elegant 19th century gardens.  These volunteers spend a rather large number of hours tending to the garden and will be available for questions and to give a brief tour of the garden.

There is not just one garden at Old Economy Village but several.  The Beaver County Chapter of the Penn State Master Gardeners volunteers and maintains the 19th century Herb Garden.  They also maintain the Baker House garden.  Pat Leiphart and her husband Warren Kinneer are the main volunteers from this group.  Pat retired from Old Economy Village and has maintained the Baker House garden since the 1980s.
