Accessibility
Old Economy Village is committed to providing an inclusive experience for all visitors and strives to offer reasonable accommodations for those requiring special assistance.
Guided Tours of the most significant buildings typically last 30 minutes. The tour covers a distance of up to 100 yards, with periodic breaks. Seating is available along the tour route and throughout the historic site. In addition to the guided tours, visitors may explore several self-guided buildings located across the 6-acre site.
A wheelchair is available for complimentary use during your visit.
Wheelchairs, walkers, and rollators have access to ramps for entry into all historic buildings.
Strollers are permitted inside all buildings.
Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not allowed inside the historic buildings. Pets must remain on a leash, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
Service animals are always welcome and may enter the historic buildings. Emotional support animals and therapy animals are allowed on the historic site but may not be permitted inside the buildings.
Guests with special needs are encouraged to contact David Miller at davmiller@pa.gov in advance to discuss any accommodations required for a more enjoyable visit.
