See the Blacksmith and the Printer, and learn about life in the 1830’s. Try some hands on activities such as making rope and 19th century children’s games. Old Economy Village was founded in 1824 by a German pietistic Christian communal society called the Harmonists. They built their town 17 miles north of Pittsburgh on the Ohio River in modern day Ambridge. You must register for one of these dates by Wednesday, April 25.
